Things I Love

Encapsulated whole fruit, veggies and berries

It is common knowledge that one of the pillars of health is good nutrition.  One component of that is ample natural plant foods that are vine-ripened, clean and of a diverse variety.

The absolute minimum amount of fruit and veg portions the UK government recommends is five portions.  This is for basic health, and many experts do not consider that enough anymore due to the declining quality of our food, as well as the toxins and stress we are exposed to daily.  We are not winning the odds against disease, so we must take extra action in prevention.

The optimal amount of vegetables and fruits is 40-50% of the food we consume each day.  And we should aim to rotate our fruit and veg in order to get the maximum variety of nutrients from across the colour spectrum (“eat your rainbow on a plate” is a common phrase we use in clinic).

Even though we know this, most of us find it hard to do with consistency.  Hence why we may recommend that you add these whole-food concentrates into your diet as a top-up and to help reduce chronic inflammation.

They are certified vegan, gluten-free, GMO-free and dairy-free.
They are minimally processed and as close to nature as possible.  Simple, effective and convenient for anyone to use on the go or at home, they form a nutritional safety belt for the busy person.

And most importantly for me as a clinician, they are third-party tested and verified, as well as heavily researched and backed by science.  If you want to read the papers like I did (there are around 50 studies published in prestigious scientific journals), let me know.

I have been using them for me and my family every day for the last 4.5 years and the health benefits have ranged from improved digestion to stronger hair and nails, reduced food sensitivities, more energy, better immunity and much, much more.

Once one understands how plants are  truly our health heroes, they will want to add this concept into their lifestyle and use it to catapult their overall wellness onto a higher level.

Vertical Home Allotment

WhatsApp Image 2024-01-10 at 06.11.03.jpeg

This is a vertical aeroponic unit that allows you to grow up to 32 plants from within your own home, all year round.

As an indoor unit that can go in a kitchen, lounge or garage, this is a self-lit, self-watering system that really couldn’t be easier to put together and maintain.

We have had ours for over 3 years and it has given us an abundance of leafy greens, herbs and flowering plants.  Examples of what we have planted are:

  • Broccoli

  • Tomatoes

  • Cucumber

  • Watermelon

  • Runner beans

  • Peas

  • Basil

  • Radish

  • Pak choy

  • Coriander

  • Parsley

  • Perpetual spinach

  • Purslane

  • Kale

  • microgreens

And many more.  You can grow anything that isn’t a tree or a root vegetable- even flowers!

The Tower uses 98% less water than conventional gardening methods, takes up a fraction of the space (it’s the size of the average Christmas tree) and the crops grow three times faster than other methods.

There are no pests, no pesticides/herbicides, no weeds and no soil.  You can go on holiday for a few weeks and come back to ready-made, delicious salads , or super-fresh greens to use in your smoothies, which will give you 70% more nutrients than what you would buy in the shops from mass-produced crops.  You don’t even have to wash your produce; straight from ‘farm’ to table.

A total no-brainer for a healthy family.  If you want more info or to get a discount on it, you can email me or text me.  The potential of this machine is truly endless!

Other daily supplements

These are some of the nutritional supplements I personally use and recommend in clinic, where appropriate.  Pictured here are mushroom supplements (there are various formulations according to the issue of focus), a liposomal vitamin D3/K2 spray and a probiotic.  These again are carefully selected for their safety, quality, bioavailability and research behind them.
